That’s what you get when we help you market yourself and your business more effectively to “boost your business”.

You might have some other questions about The BizzBoosters, and what we do. Again, fair enough. And to help us answer that question for you and clarify what you read atop this page, we’ll use Kipling’s six “honest serving men”:

WHY: The most important question. WHY should you do business with us, or at least give us some of your time and attention? Because we can help you reduce your pain—reduce your stress, struggle, frustration, expenses, and lack of time and focus—and we can help you increase your pleasure—more clients, better clients, more income, more profits, more free time, more joy. It’s what we promised in our Positioning Statement at the top. If this is of interest to you, read the rest below, peruse this site, and seriously consider “doing business with us”.

WHO: Who do we serve? Well, we work mostly with entrepreneurs—especially the budding kind—and small business owners (including many home based business owners). We’ve helped businesspeople succeed in many industries. However, when it comes to Laurel’s coaching-mentoring-consulting program, she is especially effective with people who use the computer as their primary tool to create and deliver products and services. Like technical writers, graphic designers, Web designers, software developers, Webmasters, virtual assistants, editors & desktop publishers, interface designers and eZine publishers.

WHAT: What exactly do we do? Well, that depends. As BizzBoosters, we teach primarily what we call Benefits-Based Marketing™. What’s that? It’s a two-part process where first, you become crystal clear on the problems you solve, on the value you offer, in other words, on the BENEFITS you provide to your subscribers, prospects and clients. Then, you use that knowledge to promote yourself and to market your business more effectively—telling the world precisely what you do and who you do that best with—so you can stop being the best-kept secret in your field of expertise.

Now, as a coach-mentor-consultant, Laurel does something additional for her clients. It comes down to “basics”—marketing 101. The very first purpose of everything she does is to “transform” the person she works with, which in turn will transform the businessperson, and consequently transform the business and the results. And that transformation of the mindset, the attitude, point of view, expectations, etc. is best accomplished with what she calls “the basics”. Look, it’s OK for you to start the day thinking “HOW CAN I get more visitors to my website?” However, we think a much better “basic” question is, “WHY SHOULD THEY do business with me?” Laurel helps you to grow your business from the point of view of the person on the other side of your desk, or counter, or telephone—the client.
